ASP.NET MVC is now Open Source

Scott Guthrie announced yesterday that ASP.NET MVC is now open source (free like speech, not just free like beer, as Hanselman puts it here). Haack has also blogged the open source move. The source is released under the MS-PL license.

You can download the source and do whatever you wish with it (but please share if you do something really cool with it Open-mouthed).  The source is located here (http://tinyurl.com/cs3l3n).

Both the Ajax Control Toolkit and Silverlight Toolkit are already release open source under the MS-PL, so this is not the first time MS has embraced open source.

Peace and Grace,
Greg
